Hello Parents and Visitors,

Due to COVID-19 Alexander Preschool is enforcing strict guidelines at our program for parents and children.

To sign up with our program you must be in agreement with these health policies at all times.

You will be given all information during a interview process.

PARENTS: Be aware that In home Family Child Cares, are required by law in the State of California to be licensed by the State Child Care Licensing Agency at Social Services. There are many unlicensed child cares now operating without permission or licenses in our county. Be very aware that you do not fall victim and sign up with one of the illegal child cares. Call licensing and check them out first.

Unlicensed Child Cares are illegal and can be shut down. Don't find yourself in a situation of scrambling to find new care because your Child Care was operating illegally.

Licensed family child cares are finger printed and cleared through the Department of Justice, Local law agencies, State agencies and FBI. As well as all adults living in the home.

Licensed Provider have to take over 16 Hrs. of CPR, health and safety training with Nutrition and then renew every two years with a 8 hr. course.

Licensed Family Child Care are mandated reporters and take a course on mandated reporting.

Licensed Family Child Care have to have a home inspection by the licensing agency and pass before they are allowed to operate.

Licensed Family Child Cares are subject to annual inspections to be sure they are in compliance.

A Licensed Family Child Care is legal to operate either as a small capacity child care 6-8 kids and one provider or

A large family child care up to 14 kids and with two adults.

As a Parent it is your right to see a copy of the Providers License and verify the license by calling Social Services 916-263-5744

2020 has started out with a most unusual situation with a world pandemic crisis. CORVID-19

We have put into place extra precautions in order to keep our kids and families safe from CORVID-19. Although we have always had health practices in place, we have taken on even more precautions.

Although we can never guarantee that the virus won't affect our program, we can say that we here at Alexander Child Care and Preschool are doing everything possible to prevent infection here.

2020 Preschool Graduation.

This year due to COVID-19 and social distancing, we had a car drive by parade for all the kids Nearly 30 cars participated in the Parade. This was indeed a different celebration and especially on our 50th year Anniversary, but it went off great.
